We usually stop by Walmart before coming up the mountain. Rocky Ridge Retreat is the perfect mixture of modern and traditional cabin decor! We created a space that would be great for families, friends, and groups to get together in the mountains for relaxation and fun! The peaceful remote atmosphere is unlike any other and you'll enjoy a morning coffee out on the front deck or a night around the fire pit. Inside you'll find plenty to do also with the Pool Table, foosball table, and arcade game machine. Or kick back and relax in the home theatre set up! The drive to the cabin does include some pretty windy and narrow roads as is normal for this area. Gravel driveway is a bit bumpy and steep but most SUVs, Vans, and trucks should have no problem making it up. Low riding cars may have issues on the driveway as it is gravel and parts of it are steep. The trip is well worth the drive. ★BEDROOMS★ You will have ample space for your family or group to spread out as there are 4 large bedrooms. The first 2 bedrooms upstairs each have a King sized bed. The Master bedroom has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower. The next 2 bedrooms are located downstairs. A Queen bedroom with its own private entrance and the last room has 2 queens and a full size bed for multiple adults or would make a great kids room. And last the bottom level is also where you'll find the game room and theatre! The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests. ★BATHROOMS★ There are 3 full sized bathrooms. The upstairs has 2 bathrooms. One is in the Master bedroom with a walk-in shower. The other bathroom is in the hallway and also has a walk-in shower. The last bathroom is located downstairs with a shower/tub combo. The bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels, hand soap, and toilet paper. Please remember to bring other toiletries and enough extra supplies for your stay! ★KITCHEN/DINING ROOM★ The fully stocked kitchen has everything you’ll need for making meals for the whole group, including stainless steel appliances, a toaster, can opener, and all the basic kitchen essentials like pots, pans, plates, cups, and utensils. There’s lots of counter space with seating available for 3 at the kitchen countertop. The dining room table also has room for 6. ★GAME ROOM★ Located on the lower floor you'll find the game room with a Foosball Table, Pool Table & an Arcade Game System (Mortal Combat). Its connected to the Theatre room which seats up to 6 people in the electric reclining sofas. A 65 inch smart TV allows you to enjoy streaming all the movies or shows you want to watch. DVD player is also hooked up and ready to use if you'd prefer to bring your own movies! ★OUTSIDE SPACE★ You will love the ability to walk out on the decks each morning with your cup of coffee. The cabin is situated in the woods but the beautiful mountains are still visible just beyond the trees especially in the fall and winter months. Sit in one of the many rocking chairs to relax each day, enjoy cooking up lunch or dinner on the charcoal grill, and eating on the outside table. And of course enjoy the fire pit anytime with 5 Adirondack chairs available to sit on. Newly installed 4 person hot tub on bottom patio section just outside the bottom Queen Bedroom. Travel Insurance is highly recommended in the months of December, January, and February as ice and snow are not uncommon. We also recommend a vehicle with 4 wheel drive during these months and to stay weather alert as to what conditions you'll be driving into when coming in. No refunds will be given because of weather related issues. Host assumes no responsibility for icy/slippery outside surfaces including porches, stairs, decks, or driveway.

Quiet Hours are from 11pm - 7am. We just ask that you're respectful of our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum after 11pm. While we have a pest control company that services our cabin, there still will be the opportunity for pests to be on the property. Please notify us immediately if any issues should arise. SECURITY CAMERAS We are equipped with exterior Ring Cameras that are capable of recording video and audio. Audio video Cameras (Ring) view the driveway and are exterior facing only. It is capable of recording and/or sending video, audio, and/or still images. ☀ Smoking inside or on the decks is NOT permitted. ☀ Pets are allowed at this property but must be disclosed and pet fee must be paid at time of booking. ☀ Drugs of any kind are NOT permitted. ☀ No 3rd party bookings. The person booking the reservation MUST be staying at the cabin. We do not allow you to book for someone else to stay. Breaking this rule will be cause for immediate cancellation. ☀All garbage MUST be stowed in the outdoor bins so bears and other animals dont get into it. An extra clean up fee will be applied if trash is left anywhere on the property. ☀ No RVs or large trailers allowed. -The cabin is located in a very wooded area and therefore will have leaves on the decks. This is normal for a cabin in the woods and should be expected. While we have a pest control company that services our cabin, there still will be the opportunity for pests to be on the property as this is a wooded area. Please notify us immediately if any issues should arise.
