We usually stop by Walmart before coming up the mountain. Starlite Cabin is the perfect mixture of modern and traditional cabin decor! We created a space that would be great for families, friends, and groups to get together in the mountains for relaxation and fun! The peaceful atmosphere is unlike any other and you'll enjoy a morning coffee out on the front deck or a night around the hot tub. Inside you'll find plenty to do also with the Pool Table and arcade game machine. Or kick back and relax in the living room for a movie night! The driveway up to the cabin does include a steep climb as is normal for this area but it is paved. Most vehicles should have no problem making it up. The trip is well worth the drive. ★BEDROOMS★ You will have ample space for your family or group to spread out as there are 3 large bedrooms. The first 2 bedrooms are down stairs. The King Master bedroom has its own full bathroom. The other bedroom has 2 full size beds and is connected to another bathroom that shares an entrance to the hallway. The 3rd bedroom is located privately upstairs right next to the loft Game Room. It has a Queen bed and also has its own full bathroom and a private balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests max. ★BATHROOMS★ There are 3 full sized bathrooms. 2 of the bathrooms are privately located inside the 2 master bedrooms while the 3rd shares its bathroom with the hallway for guests. The bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels, hand soap, and enough toilet paper to get you started. Please remember to bring other toiletries and enough extra supplies for your stay! ★KITCHEN/DINING ROOM★ The fully stocked kitchen has everything you’ll need for making meals for the whole group, including stainless steel appliances, a toaster, can opener, and all the basic kitchen essentials like pots, pans, plates, cups, and utensils. There’s lots of counter space with seating available for 4 at the kitchen countertop. The dining room table also has room for 6. ★GAME ROOM★ Located on the upper floor loft area you'll find the game room with a Pool Table, an Arcade Game System, and a 2nd Couch. ★OUTSIDE SPACE★ You will love the ability to walk out on the decks each morning with your cup of coffee or tea. The cabin is situated in the woods but the beautiful mountains are still visible just beyond the trees especially in the fall and winter months. Sit in one of the many rocking chairs to relax each day, enjoy cooking up lunch or dinner on the charcoal grill, and eating on the outside table. 6 person hot tub on top patio section just outside the dining room french doors. Seasonal Outdoor Pool located just 2 min away by the Clubhouse. It’s typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Opening day can also depend on weather & water temps that are required to be at specific temps to open. Please send us a quick message to make sure it’s open during your booking dates if this is something important to your stay with us. Boat Slip is also open during the regular season but will depend on water levels. Please check ahead of time with us to make sure it will be open during your stay. There is permitted parking available for one boat & we will need to know ahead of time if you will be bringing one to park. **Please note that there is only room in the driveway for 2 vehicles to park. Additional parking in the resort is available, contact the host if you will have more then 2 cars, so we can direct you where to park extra vehicles. This is a Resort HOA rule and is strictly enforced.** Pet owners will need to bring their own sheets & blankets for pets that sleep and use the beds. We also ask that you bring a blanket for furniture if you allow them to sit on couches. This helps us to minimize the amount of pet hair in the cabin. Travel Insurance is highly recommended in the months of December, January, and February as ice and snow are not uncommon. We also recommend a vehicle with 4 wheel drive during these months and to stay weather alert as to what conditions you'll be driving into when coming in. No refunds will be given because of weather related issues. Host assumes no responsibility for icy/slippery outside surfaces including porches, stairs, decks, or driveway.
Other Details to Note
Quiet Hours are from 10pm - 8am. We just ask that you're respectful of our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. ☀ Smoking inside or on the decks is NOT permitted. ☀ Pets are allowed at this property but must be disclosed and pet fee must be paid at time of booking. ☀ Drugs of any kind are NOT permitted. ☀ No 3rd party bookings. The person booking the reservation MUST be staying at the cabin. We do not allow you to book for someone else to stay. Breaking this rule will be cause for immediate cancellation. ☀All garbage MUST be driven to the outdoor bins so bears and other animals dont get into it. An extra clean up fee will be applied if trash is left anywhere on the property. ☀ No RVs, large trailers, or boats allowed in the driveway. ☀ Driveway fits 2 vehicles and parking on the road is not allowed per the Resort HOA. For additional parking please contact host for info. -The cabin is located in a very wooded area and therefore will have leaves on the decks and a normal amount of cobwebs (even inside). This is normal for a cabin in the woods and should be expected. This is not a cleanliness issue, its a cabin in the woods issue! While we have a pest control company that services our cabin, there still will be the opportunity for pests to be on the property as this is a wooded area. Please notify us immediately if any issues should arise. SECURITY CAMERAS We are equipped with exterior Ring Cameras that are capable of recording video and audio. Audio video Cameras (Ring) view the driveway and are exterior facing only. It is capable of recording and/or sending video, audio, and/or still images.
